Ernie Ball Earthwood 80/20 bronze acoustic guitar strings (all gauges)

Personally these are my favourite acoustic guitar strings, despite the advice of one music shop owner who told me many years ago that they had a “languid tone”! They’re not so bright as the phosphor bronze version, but their mellower tone has more pleasant harmonics in my opinion and they also hold their tone for longer than the phosphor version.

Personally I say that they’re a nice, bright sounding string which hold their tone for longer than other brands’ phosphor bronze acoustic guitar strings (Earthwoods are plain bronze).
